Under stormy clouds

Gewar

Under stormy clouds,
And the golden sun,
In a gust of wind dancing through the field,
In the darkest forest of ancient trees.
Upon the open sea,
I can see the spark,
Tranquil, misty eyes.
Yours the only face,
As familiar as
The room that was too small,
To contain our thoughts,
And our feral hearts.

  • Comment from author about the poem: "Under stormy clouds" is a poem about brotherhood - the kind of bond that doesn’t need words. It draws from the shared landscape of childhood in our hometown, between forest and sea, where nature became both refuge and reflection of the inner world. The poem speaks of connection that outgrows language and space, yet never fades - even when life expands beyond the small room that once held two wild hearts.
