Thankyou for understanding.

Friendship

I know I trace the same old line,
Repeat the thoughts, both yours and mine.
A constant echo, soft and low,
The insecurity I deeply know.
It hums beneath each word I weave,
A quiet fear I can't quite leave.
But in this heart, a fire burns,
For what I do, for what it learns.
For things I build, for things I make,
A silent faith for goodness' sake.
I need one soul to truly see,
To trust the spark residing in me.
There’s no one left within my ken,
No friendly voice to call again.
This world's a quiet, empty room,
Enveloped in a lonely gloom.
To walk this path, so stark, so wide,
With not another by my side.
And I confess, I lean on you,
More than I ever meant to do.
But you're the last, the only tie,
My dearest family, 'neath this sky.
It's hard, this weight, this silent plea,
Just for someone to believe in me.
To have that anchor, strong and true,
A steadfast friend, reliable, new—
Who won't abandon me, nor stray,
And understands the lonely way.
This quiet ache, this endless night,
A yearning for a guiding light.
I long for trust that will not bend,
A loyal, true, unwavering friend.
That deep security, so blessed,
To finally put my fears to rest.
And in my soul, I know it's you,
My constant star, my world made new.
