Shelter in Place

dyslexic.gun

A bomb went off

They tell us to shelter in place

"just breathe and brace"

But instead of destroying

this fireball of rage

made a space

Still just as bright

and its energy was full of might

but the people were without fear

Their newfound ball of light

Kept their dreams safe and near

Do everything you can under it

It will shame you not

for it has seen all

the plight that lies with you

is so insignificant

that it's not even small

So shelter in place cuz the explosions coming

Hold on tight to your loved ones

And let it Burn all the Money

It seems that every news break speaks of explosions each bigger than the last. A good write
