I alone

Maplespal

I alone can learn to hate me.
I alone can love myself.
I alone live free,
and I price my own wealth.
Worth nothing at all,
no height left to fall,
nobody visits or calls.
I alone am where I be.
I alone ignore myself.
I alone reflectively see,
my aging depleting health.
