There Is No Rose Left In My Soul

mtrotter1

I'm in the center of a parade of chaos

As my earth-shattering dreams come to a fix

I love my law

Which was given to me,

I love my law

For it means something to me;

The grand fixture of things

Represent the law at hand

For what is this law I speak of?

No one can ever know,

For the radius of things

Reject the phenomenal

And only the phenomenal can see

For what is this case that was given to me?

Well only the phenomenal would know...

And unsteady surprises come to a full circumvent

Is that money well spent?

For these balloons have already died

There is no place to hide

And there is not a rose left on the raving pier

What body do I represent?

For the dead will come to me only

At last the wicked rose has my soul

For my soul is left for me to bare,

Poetically you have stolen my heart

Though you would never admit it

Alas the storm has gone

And my soul has gone also,

Oh what will we compare ourselves to now

Since the wicked restored my fate?

For it is the rose that has made me human

Its silver petals don't compare

And I am your fate, I suppose;

I suppose this love is weathered fate

Let us weather the storms abroad!

There is no rose left in my soul

For all that is left is my soul,

Oh what weathered soul

Deserves this fate?

I shall light up my heart

For my soul is dim,

Shall you light up my heart?

For you kiss me so passionately

Oh my soul is dead!

It is dead in love...

I am dying of love

I am faint,

Oh where is this heart that beats so strong?

There is no rose left in my soul.

And even in the greatest dance

I find romance,

My heart beats for you still

Even when it gets old

For my heart has no rose

Left in its soul

I cry for my undying love.
