A Nose for Fun

Matthew R. Callies

There once was a fellow named Lou,
Whose fingers knew what they could do.
On a friend’s nose they peeked,
Though manners were weak,
And laughter erupted anew.

A giggle escaped from Miss Mae,
As Lou’s finger went boldly astray.
“Oh hush!” she exclaimed,
But secretly named
This the funniest game of the day.

So join in the fun if you dare,
With friends who are happy to share.
It’s silly, it’s gross,
But laughter it sows—
A nose-picking holiday rare!
