Blood and wine

RSM0812

Blood as dark and sweet as wine,

The celestial body of design.

Hark the beauty of the earth,

Around, around great universe.

Bring the tides of joy,

Together always be,

Until the sunlight glow,

That ends eternity.

As minds they mingle, and rest at peace,

My heart is like a verse.

Afraid I am or here the least,

Nor desire at its worst.

Forward all, the fairer hands,

Without the quarrelsome reprimand.

As worshiped in the bones,

Of men that built their tomb.

Growing young, as they get old.

Left dying in the reddest room.

  • Friendship

Your poem explores the interconnectedness of life, death, and the beauty of existence, juxtaposing joy and sorrow, youth and aging, and the transient nature of time. It reflects on the human experience and the inevitability of mortality, while also celebrating the beauty and complexity of the universe.
