Haze

Nicole Pritchard

I'm lost in the haze, yet hope's not lost it's way

A glimmer of light, a beacon to guide me through the day

Drained and empty, emotions numbed and cold

But still I push forward, refusing to fold

In the darkness, I search for a spark

A flame the flickers, a love that's left its mark

I'm weary of hiding from isolation's grasp

I yearn for connection, for love that will last

Feeling stuck, yet I still stand tall

I'll fight for what's right and fight to stay strong through it all

Though the road is long and the journey's unclear

Reminding me to breathe, to persevere
