Her Silent Battle

Sassy Lou

She struggled alone through the twilights of woe

She carried sorrow, she carried pain

But in her trusted fire was ignited

An intonation that said: don't give up

The cosmos was heavy, dark, malicious

Her resilience was tested, heart imprisoned

Yet, threw it she remained so true

a spiritual warrior, a heart that grew

And now her story shines with radiant grace

Her fortitude has lit a brighter place

Though she battled those twilights alone

She built vigour that's all her own

That was quite creative fading out on the last two lines by smaller and lighter font. Well done
