GREED
A greedy man,
Though married,
Pursued a beautiful girl.
To others,
He spoke of her
As his lover and friend.
But she
Loved another.
One day, he left this world,
Perhaps burdened by this too,
His soul weighed down with sorrow.
When she heard,
She went to his grave,
Opened her dress,
Bared her thighs,
As if ready,
“Here,” she said, “you wretch,
Satisfy yourself now!”
