I Felt It

jjudaharts

The chaos of my mind died,

When my bare feet touched the green grass,

Though the sun was scorching hot,

Resting under my shadow was a hard red beetle,

Tough on the outside yet vulnerable when I touched it.

How could I forget the lulling feel of the soft leaves,

The rich brownness of the hard trees,

Serenity in the thin air,

The blue sky and its milk-white clouds,

And the sweet smell of the vibrant orchids?

Nature's got a paradise to it,

Only those one with it feel it.

I felt it.

I feel it and am in it at the moment. This poem caught me in that moment and as rarely happens the two coincided leaving me with a feeling of bliss. That deserves a fave.
