Cherished memories

Maplespal

Flowers smell nice to the nose,
sometimes sand feels nice between toes.
Cocooned in warm blankets in bed,
the softest pillow for the head.
Hot cocoa, marshmallows, fire roast,
sofa tea with dipping toast.
Childhood memories brought back,
like the taste of a needed snack.
These times bring cherished memory spots,
aging takes the cherished of our thoughts.
These take some moments to reflect about,
smiles, frowns, and tears we let out.

A poem of pleasures whether tactile, olfactory, gustatory, visual or auditory even memories bring such. A lovely warm and comforting write
