UPON THE MORN

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

Softly
At dawns first rise
When you awake
With sleepy eyes
Your secret dreams
Tucked faraway
From man and God
Lest they say.

The places and faces
In such dreams
Walk hidden pathways
By violet streams
Loves and likes
In bosoms heart
A treasured beat
A new days start.

Half awake
Your tousled hair
Upon bare shoulders
Beauty fair
Lips that sip
From coffee cup
In deep brown eyes
Secrets shut.
