Fading in the Shadows

Violet_Writes

My world is falling, breaking to pieces,
I'm lost, nowhere to be found.
I want to leave, I'm done,
Loneliness lingers all around.

Long for friends, for warmth and light,
But life remains a stubborn bud,
No water, no sun to help it grow,
Only silence where hope once stood.

Withering away, fading fast,
Drifting into the unknown,
Broken, forgotten,
Shattered and gone.

How sad. I've been there, too often, yet still here I am. This too will pass.
