Entanglement

Karoline

Birdsong lost to slumber,
Laying in the long grass,
The breeze tickling my skin,
The evening sun winking at me.
In this moment
It is of you that I dream.
It is you within my soul,

It is you who fills my heart with wonder.

In my mind you appear,
Walking towards me.
As you rest beside me
I turn to face you, and
With a half smile
You oscillate my molecules,
Scattering me in all directions.
Painting me a colour
Visible only through your eyes.

This is romantic and synchronistic all at once. Nicely worded.
