The Hike

William Hromada

We hiked the trails, a sunny day, Cool breeze weaving through our play. Hand in hand, the world felt light, Sunday's glow, our hearts in flight. Laughter echoed, steps in sync, Nature's pulse, no need to think. Then out to eat, the evening's spark, A beautiful Sunday, etched in our dark.

Wonderful flow as if on a smooth walk, it has great rhyme as well that synchronizes the feel. Loved it
