A Plan

Judy: (spoken)
Explain to me linguistic terminology

Lloyd: (spoken)
Uh…

Judy: (spoken)
Lloyd… Please?

Lloyd: (spoken)
It’s purposed to encompass specific vocabulary to describe language…

Judy: (sung)
Oh, if you’re gonna hold, hold me tight,
Hold me tight, Hold me tight
If you’re gonna hold, hold me tight,
Hold me tight

Can we keep as we are?
Unconventional innocence
Not surrounded by debt,
Without a marriage, we’re set,
I need to keep my foot on the brakes
Don’t ask if I care,
That a judgement is unfair to make
‘Cause I need my plan,
For if I choose to walk away
But since I’ve stalled, I guess with you,
Is where I’ll stay

I’ve agreed to love,
Agreed to stay
I’m here, and won’t walk away
But I need some space,
A place to breathe,
I reach for your embrace

And as I rest,
The song stays on
I turn, turn,
To see you…

Lloyd: (Spoken)
Jude? Can you tell me what a comma is?

Judy: (Spoken)
A what?

A conversational poem that runs the course. Most interesting in conversation the comma a slight pause does not seem to occur in conversation. Well done.
