English Sunset

Georgia Watson

English sunset:

Her carroty hair igniting the fire and beauty in her eyes, her sunlit smile reflects and echos across Rivers that span for miles.

I see her in all of the golden bridges, starlight and the moon oh so bright.

Autumn feels different now and English sunsets fill my heart with this spreading warmth that I could remember forever.

Her caramel like voice fills the air like a simple yet unfinished symphony I could loop until I die.

The last of her love sinks into the water as I remember her through the English sunsets I always saw her in.

A beautiful poem with great images painted in poetic words. Very nicely done.

This reads like a sunset caught mid-breath…tender, luminous, and eternal. You turned longing into light, and it lingers beautifully. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
