Fire

FXP

It is a fire I crave to see

It is a flame I crave to be

It is wood I crave to burn

It is ash I crave to become

It is the red I wished upon

It is the yellow, the orange

It is the crackling I wished for

It is the heat I want to feel more

It is the sweltering hot

It is the smoking hole of a gunshot

It is the blackening earth

It is the fire that does its worst

I pour the accelerant

The fuel, the propellent

It roars out loudly

So deafening to me

Screaming as it combusts

Intense closeness of its lust

It engulfs the air

Trees fall to its nightmare

Conflagration

A holocaust of blazes

Tearing apart

The entire land

An inferno on the ground

The forest is in flames

Destroyed by a fierce barrage

Eaten, swallowed whole

By a fire I craved to see

By a flame I craved to be

By wood I craved to burn

By ash I craved to become
