The Pen Intellectual

Karoline

I have never met you;
But I know you.
My soul connected to yours
By invisible string,
Spanning countries
And continents,
I feel it's compass guide you
Towards my heart.

I have never touched you;
But I feel you.
My thumb tracing
The lines of your face,
Brushing softly against your lips,
Watching them part,
Your breath against my skin,
I shiver at the thought.

We have never spoken;
But my eyes have marvelled
At the beauty of your words,
Each small detail
So full of you,
Like sunlight spilling
Through an open window
Into my mind.

I have never told you;

But I love you

    A most interesting poem that reminds me of the letter in the movie V for vendeta where Ede reading a letter found is told that even though the writer has never met the reader they love them. A most lovely write
