Until what point?

Niko Papadatos

Until what point is it acceptable to steer away from the sun?

Until what point is it acceptable to swim up towards where we begun?

Do we always have to be like Icarus and burn to a crisp?

Or die exploring the depths of the ocean just like the titanic ship?

Dying or living, a question not about guts but what is it to be done.

An answer to ponder especially when thinking about our sons.

Some do survive though, but just at the rate of those babies that don’t cry.

Take flight, stand still, begin a fight, become ill,

Whatever it is that one decided to do, always remember that the clock always ticks.

Indeed! But I believe that for the things that truly matter, we shall fight until the end. Thank you so much for the comment!!!!!!

One does not always have to do what is expected by others and even what one thinks is a good idea may not be one. A fun read
