She hovers over hallowed ground
Creates the most delightful sound
Runs with the fox hunts with the hound
The goddess of the night
A heart as cold as arctic ice
Thaws every time she takes a slice
Her virtue doubles as her vice
The goddess of the night
The power to bring giants to their knees
Unlocking hearts with master keys
Her hug disguised her fatal squeeze
The goddess of the night
A juggernaut of wit and charm
When reapers took her by the arm
Was they who wound up at the farm
The goddess of the night
She's out there now still standing tall
With scissors for your paper wall
Deciding when you're due a call
The goddess of the night

I am extremely grateful as always
Many thanks
It is my pleasure
Beware the goddess of the night, there's no delight.
She'll take your soul into the night, then she's out of sight.
Brilliant Paul
Many thanks
Your poem "Goddess" explores the duality of a powerful female figure who embodies both nurturing and destructive qualities. The "goddess of the night" symbolizes mystery, allure, and danger, portraying themes of femininity, power, and the complexities of human emotions. The goddess captivates and enchants those around her, yet her coldness and the potential for harm suggest a darker side to her charm.
Thank you friendship
Means a lot coming from one so talented
