The ocean Cove

RSM0812

The thirst of water, weighed down with salt,
Across the oceans shadow,
The waves, the moons and tides result,
The sky so dark and hollow.

Take me to your island bay,
Where the fools play.
And dance the night away.

Then to rest, my sleepy love,
My heart you test.
The oceans and the sandy cove.
The dark of night is at its best.

An invitation to a love party is what I read into this poem. Very nice.

Your poem explores themes of longing, escape, and the tranquil beauty of nature, specifically through the imagery of the ocean and a desire for connection. It reflects both a yearning for an idyllic place and the emotional turbulence associated with love and rest.
