The Shepherd of My Soul

gray0328

thank you lord for your patience

for gathering me when i scatter

you lift my head from despair

when shame weighs it back down

i am the lost you never leave

the wandering you always welcome

how deep is your mercy's ocean

how wide your arms stretched open

for every misstep your grace waits

for every fall your hand reaches

i sow ruin you return redemption

you see me and still call me yours

oh shepherd who tends my soul

may i never flee your pasture

may i rest where love overflows

where forgiveness steadies my spirit

Here I see unconditional love and forgiveness that steadies the wanderer and provides a guiding star. Lovely
