DESIRES

Bustillos

In those worlds, in dark desires,
in those inward spirals of passion.
Worlds hidden from sight,
desires and pleasures
within our lives.

Desires,
desires for something,
something more in our lives,
in the twilight of existence.

Among the moths that flutter,
secret depths of that pleasure,
that dissolve the skin in the most insatiable yearning.

On the reverse side of the other self, hidden desires,
fantasies that have a life of their own,
in the game of the perverse,
in the night that belongs to all.

This poem fits the season both literally in the fall and its darkening and Halloween and its dark origins and night. Well written it speaks out. Well done
