Jitters

Maplespal

Walk to the end of your steps ahead,
try your best to forget what they said,
allow the moment to be lost instead,
cell your mind with just water and bread.
Wash the dried blood that flowed to be bled,
take the time to understand and get clear head.
Open your thoughts and arms wide spread,
demise the notion, for it is now dead,
exchange the vows, rings, and become wed.
