Decorated Mule

Aman 12

Inks poured into wells
and sealed with laws.
Words are loaded on
the back of a decorated mule.
Twenty feet deep graves
are dug for books.
Knowledge is folded like
a paper plane which is hijacked.
Chalks are crushed
and dissolved as salt.
Desks are used as bolts for stables.

Globes split in halves and
used as helmets.
Rulers used to remove fish scales.
Questions and answers are
bottled in jars with fireflies.
A world where learning is sorcery.

For those in power ignorance of the masses is in their best interest. A lovely write of a dystopia not far from where we are.
