My Soft Deer

Cirawrites01

My soft deer,
I can't truly veer,
I am lost,
And this love will cost.

Im scared to commit,
Afraid it'll quit,
I sabotaged what was built,
And I feel like Im left with guilt.

Not the best at making decisions,
Altered futures messing my visions,
Im sorry, I broke your heart,
Fragile and weak, I shattered art.

Your Perception changed,
Can't reverse what's been deranged,
I question what was true,
It's all blue.

Am I a traitor,
Lost in emotions saving for later,
Called it a distraction,
But did I lack direction?

Completely shut out,
Deserved and thrown flout,
I care about the moon,
Scarred my precious dune.

I see a deer in the road from which one can not veer away or avoid. Sad indeed. Nicely written as a metaphor for a relationship as well.
