Rainy Meditation

jjudaharts

The heavy raindrops thud, forcing us to take cover,

The hulking explicit music bangs through the speaker,

Through the heavy jumps and sounds, some go mad,

But I find the stillness, inhale exhale,

I find the silence beneath every sound,

The cold wind brushing my skin all around.

I stand ten toes,

Being where my feet are,

Thanking God for another chance of being alive.
