The Reset

Ezekiel Olayemi

They said the world was not ready—

for an awakening that would touch every breath,

every living soul.

So they commanded a reset,

and silence fell like rain upon the earth.

A great hush moved through mountains and seas,

through cities that once dreamed of forever.

And the world slept once more—

not in peace,

but in eternity.

A most interesting concept of start and restart. Short but imaged well. Nicely done
