Ancient city

Princess Osariemen Aihie

  In the heart of an ancient kingdom;

 a kingdom of impact;

 a kingdom of victory

 Past war they fought;

 they conquered

 kings like lions

 decorated in corals;

 walks with his chiefs;

 like pride of lions

 clothed in red;

 a display of culture

 walking with strength;

 displaying dignity

 Cultural dancers;

 dressed in red

 dancing with pride;

 a touch of African music;

 a passion of drumbeats

 Food so mouthwatering ;

 and so savoring

 salivating at the aroma

 a taste of African herbs;

displaying a rich culture

Welcome to Benin city;

an ancient kingdom;

of passion, art and culture
