Taboo Love

Xalvazora

I know I shouldn't feel this way,

But you've let me down once that day.

I want to feel your arms around me,

Hoping the whole world will let us be.

In the past,

The sex was great.

At the least

You could have taken me on a date.

You should've confessed your love to

Me sooner,

Or things would've gone smoother.

You said, "Love you." after hurting me,

At that moment I wanted to flee.

Before,

You shown me tenderness in love.

Now,

I can feel the distance in your love.

I don't think you love me anymore,

But I do.

What would you do if I kissed you again?

Kiss me new?

I really love you,

But I shouldn't be with a person who has

Hurt me.

I really love you,

But we shouldn't be.

I wanted to start anew,

But I bid you adieu.

This sounds like a plea for love that has been lost. A sad poem where one loves but the other does not. Unrequited love a need unsatisfied. Nicely done
