(I Finally Feel It(happy early bday to me)By [Carmen Young/me] written Nov. 1st at 5:35 this is the best peom I've ever written in my life.

______________________________________________

There are so many feelings in my body right now.

It’s a thousand more than I’ve ever felt before.

It’s a sudden burst of energy in my fingers and toes.

It’s the wiping of my tears tonight as I look at the time.

Day after day, month by month, this light has never been this bright.

The sun might be down as I write this,

but I have to tell you all how I feel, so listen close when I describe it.

It’s the feeling of walking into a warm building after the cold felt neverending.

It’s the feeling of wearing warm clothes in the morning after the shower.

It’s the feeling that maybe my life isn’t over.

It’s the feeling that maybe the days won’t get colder.

It’s the feeling that I can do it

I’m getting older.

And soon I’ll be bolder.

I’ll know who I am and I’ll lean on my own shoulder.

I believe there’s nothing I can’t do and I’ll look to myself for closure.

I’ll be happy with myself and when I meet myself, I will already know her.

I never knew id make it this far

Im not gonna lie i pictured it ended

But im glad it didn't

Don't worry abt that now dont dwell on that sentence

Beacuse right now i feel like that was my best decision ever made

Im so happy i did make lemons out of lemonade

Just like they said i would

Im glad i listened and some part of me understood but yeah i still wonder

Will the nights will take me somewhere I would love to go,

and not somewhere dark where the shadows grow.

But that’s not the point, don’t be sad when you read this.

Because I’m almost sixteen and suddenly

I feel I’m destined for greatness.
