Question of When?

it was March of 2023,
an Intro to another like me,
recognition is what it would be,
of the same pain resoundingly
living inside of me, crippling,
wrenching all life right out of me,
to see another such as he
succeed, capturing a future to be,
confronting a foe, singing triumphantly,
locking up Enemy, holding his key -
the dance of life and what it can be

when my eyes cleared enough to see,
the Reniverse was the only place I could be
