" TRUST WHY ?"
There are only three people,
I can trust in this world wide,
They are - Me, Myself and I.
Because how can I trust ?
When it leads to betrayal.
It's always the same, in the end.
When the arms, I wished
to embrace were never there,
when needed in worse times.
When the voice which claimed Me,
during the wise days, won't listen
to my agony in those wrong.
When I trusted someone deeply,
And they showed me otherwise.
The scars at my back tell no lies.
Whenever I let someone,
hold my hand to be led.
They straight away went,
for my throat instead.
So why shall I ?
Trust is fragile.
Trust Why ?

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem isn’t about me—it’s about a fallen king, one who gave his heart to loyalty and was answered with betrayal. Each line carries the ache of his downfall, the echo of trust turned to dust. “Trust Why?” isn’t a question—it’s his final whisper seeking peace, somehow in wounds which never heal.
