Millions are gone
Homes uprooted
Family's are in tatters
And not much matters to him
Cuz the boss dont know
The boss pretends not to know
Man upstairs at the top
Taking a stroll
Leisurely walk
While many suffer
Without the means
Cuz the boss dont know
He pretends not to know
Cuz the boss dont know that im stoned

This poem is easy in form taking a smooth and simple meter. It seems mellow but the content is stressed and sad. This conflict leaves a tension in the poem. The last line attempts to resolve the tension but the line (Cuz the boss dont know that im stoned) only appears to postpone it. Well done
