Close the lid, don’t let them in,
when walking down your path,
don’t let their kick make you lose your feet.
Everyone’s right on the eyes of their own,
but everyone is also equally as wrong in the eyes of their foe.
Live life,
don’t let it pass by.
Observe the flight of a fly,
make your fingers touch the sky,
close your eyes and stare at nothing,
lay down and just hear their stories,
make your voice be heard,
Be sure to not hurt.
Smile,
liberty, dissolvable
freedom, an illusion
smile, yours.

So many conflicting statements in this poem it all comes down to the end and it becomes evident that nothing can be trusted. Well done
Thank you sorenbarrett. That is what I wanted to convey. Good analysis and thank you!
You are most welcome
Certainly!
Beautifully complex poem. Definitely a fave. One in life as to decide whether to be part of the 99% or the 1%. Well done!
Thank you so much! That was also one of my main objectives with this poem.
A poem rich with thought and style. Each paragraph feels like its own poem but when seen as a bigger picture, everything combines. Good job
Yes! Similar what sorrenbarrett commented. You guys are really good at analyzing poems. Thank you so much!
