Guilt Is a Scorpion

Ria_1005

Guilt is a scorpion.

If it bites you, you're a bitch.

If it doesn't, you're a witch.

If you fight it, you have no shame.

If you don't, it's still the same.

Hate is a snake.

Jealousy is a vulture.

Anger is a bull.

I am a golden retriever.

A golden retriever ambushed by a scorpion, snake, vulture and bull.

My golden fur, once bright beneath the ever-loving sun,

now lies matted red.

Red is the colour of love.

Only so when inside one's body.

Outside, it's called violence.
