I'm approaching and nearly at the park,
I hear a firework, set off by a flamed spark,
The Sun descends away so it's getting dark,
Brightness being gone beyond some tree bark.

A uni-rhyme poem that in four lines sets an image in the mind and brings up memories of past 4th of July's in the park. Nicely done my friend
Appreciate it, thank you.
You are most welcome
Wonderful monorhyme my friend. And indeed, as in the pic, the brightness is quite literally beyond some tree bark! Great pic, and a great poem. Well done!
Thanks pal.
Who turned the light out?! Not a certain character, as he's gone home! lol.
E.T. again? lol.
