BRICK WALL

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

The brick wall
That surrounds you
Surrenders not
To night or day
It does not subside
In alcohol
Or the words
I may say.

The wall you built
To protect you
Has become the prison
You do not see
It chases everyone away
In solitary you will be.
