Sunday sun rise

RSM0812

Casted shadows here in vain,

Deepened warmth expressed the same.

Untimely due like a winters rose,

Upon the roads of which I’ve strode.

In the darkness, kept till dawn,

As the quiet relents a warming song,

And beauty from the angels mane,

Sweet to yield yet chills the pain.

A lasting breath, In waters deep,

Keeps chimneys coal on steeples peak.

And lasting love will pass near few,

As minds and body and soul renew.

Most beautiful words that leave a sense of melancholy and even a wistfulness. A fave
