Again

Sree

You're nothing new,
I'm just facing you again
A loop I never chose,
A wound that won't remain.
You wear a different name,
But the ache feels just the same.
Different face, same storm,
Cold heart, familiar flame.
I thought I'd moved,
But here you are.
Back like a ghost
That never wandered far.

This seems the type of relationship that has grown more common in recent times. A mark of our age. Well written

Sometimes exorcism isn't enough, and the demon returns.
Tough road to tread this one, we've all been on it.
