Imagine

Sunflowersinrain

Imagine holding your precious child.

Now imagine knowing their future,

Knowing you would live longer than them,

Knowing it would be painful,

Knowing it would be a false reason,

Knowing you can't stop it.

Imagine how deep you'd show love.

Longer hugs,

More attention,

Saying every praise you can,

Kissing their forehead any chance,

Praying for them.

Now imagine how Mary felt at the foot of the cross...

And she still rejoiced in God.

A poem that is pulling at the heart of any parent and puts it in a religious framework. Well done
