Once you were a little boy ,

Just a friend ;

To enjoy ,

A silly blend .

We didn't know ,

Each others lives ;

So low ,

On the other sides .

But that had no effect,

We had each other ;

In all aspects ,

In another .

As a child ,

I had no choice to leave ;

My life was wild ,

I wanted to take you with me .

Now we're both grown ,

Never to reunite ;

Only to find each other by phone ,

That night .

I was a dark hole,

I was stable;

A sad soul ,

Still capable.

You carried me out ,

Like a feather ;

Without any doubt,

Together.

Almost as if we were fated,

It felt so surreal;

Infatuated ,

With your appeal.

I never want to lose you ,

Or your closed face;

There's nothing we can't come through,

When you're my safe space .

    The fit between two people in this poem compared to a physical fit in objects or space and a lovely allegory it is indeed.
