Beneath Thine Essence

The Velvet

Myself hushed in Meadows,

Hovering hands over lilies.

Pondering to decide,

‘Is it more beautiful, thine eyes?’

Arms wide back on earth,

I drown myself in it.

Pondering to decide,

‘Is it more solace, thine embrace?’.

Caress of breeze on mine face,

So gentle as though I fade.

Pondering to decide,

‘Is it more serene, thy whisper?’.

Mind mesmerized by thy radiance,

Thy grace so divine.

Pondering to decide,

‘Is Minstrel worthy of thy warmth?
