Driving

mumiza

Red lights racing towards us

I close my eyes

Feign sleep

In the back boys strapped securely

Sleeping soundly

Unaware

The tailgated is spooked

We brake suddenly

Flashing

Passing by the pace reduces

The overtaken catches us and lights the fuse

The game begins

Braking then speed forcing me back braking then speed forcing me back braking then speed forcing me back

In my seat breaking

Don’t let them wake

I make no protest

The explosion inside the car more dreaded

Than a crash
