If I were to vanish
What would I even leave behind
To comfort the few who
Did cherish me?
Half empty coloring books
Several half filled journals
Documenting my love affair with sadness
Half finished craft projects
Half empty candles
Half finished orange juice in a fridge
That was never close to half full
The story of my life is diagramed in halves
Because in all honesty
My life was only half lived

The last line encapsulates it and that is a life half lived. It asks what we leave behind when we leave. Nicely written and a valid question
