Poem: Letter to Myself or Letter to God's Children

We are more than what we think.

We tend to shrink ourselves into something less than who we really are.

It's quite bizarre how even with the potential that lies within our soul we still don't know that we are capable of so much more. Furthermore

the spark that's waiting to shine bright, but can't ignite because of fright.

We are strong and capable human beings who need saving from the hardest critics are own selves and why is this always the case?

Instead let's embrace every inch of oneself and put that old story book of fear on the shelf.

Open the pages of a new one where we write about the fight of our life, where we try to overcome what's done.

For with God we know we have already won!

Take it one day at a time and sometimes one second, minute, or hour at a time.

It's possible to be remarkable.

You just need a little push of faith and a shot of Hope
