Grace Still Remains

Tristan Robert Lange

Here I am.
Here You are—

I AM—

Together we are:
The summoned storm,
The unheeded warning,
The caution thrown,
The grace gustapoed;

Yet—O Lord,
There is nothing like
Revelation’s rebound.

In its wake,
The surge will recede,
The wreckage assessed,
The loss mourned—

Your endless grace
Shall still remain.
