Grace Still Remains

Tristan Robert Lange

Here I am.
Here You are—

I AM—

Together we are:
The summoned storm,
The unheeded warning,
The caution thrown,
The grace gestapoed;

Yet—O Lord,
There is nothing like
Revelation’s rebound.

In its wake,
The surge will recede,
The wreckage assessed,
The loss mourned—

Your endless grace
Shall still remain.

Good write T. Only one person beyond the help of grace - some glugging chap! Well, beyond grace for one thing in his life; the thing that takes up 99% of his life! heehee. Didn't we just know he would get in to the comments still.

Thank you my,…glug! I really appreciglug it! Rock glug!

      😮‍💨

Damn it Popeye, can the glugging! Sorry, Orchi! He’s just so damn relentless! And we know why…don’t say it! 🤣🤣😂

We can't answer that here! lol.

Tristan this sounds like the passage from an old spell book, or maybe a retranslated bible verse. It calls out not to summon but to be heard.

Soren, I love how you put that…the spell-book energy, the retranslated scripture vibe. You caught the pulse of it. This one wasn’t about calling something up…it was about calling something out. 🌩️🕊️🌑🙏 Thank you, my friend.

            You are most welcome Tristan

I love the opening of this write. You've came in confrontational, and that is what I do like. My fav verse where I’d like to point exactly is where you’ve stated
            “ Yet—O Lord,
            There is nothing like
            Revelation’s rebound.“
Love love that there dearest Tristan.
Overall for the whole poem, you definitely deserve a 🫶🏼🥂🙏🏼💯

Kiki, your words always land with warmth…thank you. I wrote this one from a real “storm”, so hearing you connect with the confrontational opening and that middle verse means more than you know. 🌩️🕊️🌑🙏 Thanks again, my friend.
