That moment we dread

Maplespal

A shooting star could pass by my eyes,
it wouldn't break through the tears I cry.
A sudden chill has frozen me to my stare,
a distant message was passed and I'm now aware.
She left the living worlds breath.
I now know of her passing death.

A poem that seems a premonition. The question is who is being referred to. It has an ominous feel to it. Nicely written
